Hello and welcome to Mountains to Sea Studio. My studio is located on the coast in beautiful Atlantic Beach, FL, but you will usually find me in one of the national parks with a pinhole camera or biking along the coast with my sketchbook. I create contemporary abstract art based on my experiences in nature. I am currently on a mission to document every national park with my pinhole camera. All of my work is available to ship. Follow my blog for up to date information on gallery shows, art fair calendars, and behind-the-scenes info on my work and the experiences that inspire it. Shoot me an email if you have a question. Thank you for becoming part of the Mountains to Sea Studio Community!

Working on some sketches for a new piece that will include my cousin’s daughter as my model. Trying to sketch daily, but not usually satisfied with the results. Has anyone else found it true that the results seem to be better when we turn that critic off in the brain and just enjoy the process? I’m still at that stage in art where I like my sketchbook better than my “finished work” and often times prefer my palette to my paintings. It’s a process. Enjoy the ride. #portrait #drawing #sketching #sketchingdaily #portraitart #artistsoninstagram #artwork #contemporaryfigurativeart #figurative #figurativeart #moodyart #linedrawing
